Well hello old friends, it’s been far too long since I wrote anything here on this dusty old blog of mine. Two years to be exact.
Even though I’ve stayed semi-active on my social media channels, I have to admit, that blogging here has completely fallen to the wayside since returning to full time work in 2023.
This past fall marked 10 years since starting Have a Little Faith Blog. My kids at the time were 8, 5, and 4. I had just left my job to become a stay at home mom and I was looking for a creative outlet. Fast forward and those same kids are now 18, 15 and 14. One is getting ready to leave us next year for college, one learning to drive and the youngest about to finish middle school. It’s true what they say about raising kids, they grow up in a blink and before you know it, you’re facing a mere 4 years until empty nesting officially begins.
An entire decade of blogging has left me somewhat scratching my head and wondering…is it time to hang up this keyboard of mine or do I still have something worth saying? Writers often have doubts about whether or not anyone is out there listening to the words they are spilling out. And if anyone really still cares to hear about what they have to share.
So, I guess it leads me to ask the question…is there still a Have a Little Faith audience out there?
What do you want to hear from me? Is it more home decor content? Craft projects and vintage finds? Quips about motherhood? Faith? Book recommendations? Life in the country?
Have a Little Faith was started with the intention of pouring my interests into my home, my family, my friends…and for many years it was a way to share everything that inspired me with all of you. But, honestly, it was also during a time in my life where I felt pretty defeated. I was chasing certain dreams and goals that just weren’t manifesting into anything I was hoping for. By clinging to all that was good, joyful and uplifting to me, this blog really helped me stay positive during a dark time. That’s where ‘have a little faith’ initially got its true meaning. To not give up, to continue to press on, despite the challenges and struggles that we all have in life.
And that brings me back to why I started blogging in the first place. So, if you’re still willing to listen, I’m still willing to share.
If you wouldn’t mind, would you please take a minute to drop me a message in the comments with what keeps you coming back to Have a Little Faith Blog, and what you miss seeing or what you’d love to see in the future. I’m all ears!

Hello again! And glad to hear you and the kiddos are doing well.
I loved your vulnerability and encouragement stories. They let me know if wasn’t alone. And I love decorating too.
Where I’m at and would like to see in your blog:
Share what books you are reading and what stood out and why.
Also, I am currently in a season of not giving up and trying to be fully present and trust God 1 day at a time. So I would be open to your thoughts on info supporting this season in my life.
Thank you Katie, I will add to your prayers for wisdom and discernment, hoping God gives you a clear answer.
Merry Christmas and God’s abundant love and grace to you and your family.
