October is when I officially allow myself to experience all things pumpkin. I sort of have an unwritten rule that I can’t technically fully indulge until we get through the month of September, because I’m one of those people that need to segment out my holiday enjoyment.<\/p>\n

Halloween.<\/p>\n

Then Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

Lastly, Christmas.<\/p>\n

Don’t mess with the order and start playing Christmas music in October. Nope, it’s not gonna happen.<\/p>\n

This year’s fall decorating around my house was largely centered around pumpkins.<\/p>\n

I toned back much of what I put out this year, mainly because we are in the middle of a bit of a rearranging mess at the moment with our home.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As I mentioned in my previous post, we went back to the drawing board on the way we’ve been using some of the spaces in our house. We’re giving it our best efforts to make it work a little better for our growing family, and that has involved a LOT of re-configuring on the main level of our home.<\/p>\n

I’m excited to talk more on that in a different post, but for now, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pumpkin finds that I am decorating with this season.<\/p>\n

This pumpkin patch sign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Be still my pumpkin heart. You know I love a good free printable!<\/p>\n

I am linking to where I found this online at blog called Sincerely Sarah D.<\/a><\/strong> She has an editable pumpkin patch sign that you can customize for your own town which I think is just the cutest.\u00a0 I stuck mine in a black frame, and voila, instant decor.<\/p>\n

Pumpkin plates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I found these pretty pumpkin plates at my local Walmart for only a few dollars per plate. I love the muted fall colors, and since I use a lot of blues, greens and oranges in my fall decor, these were the perfect addition.<\/p>\n

The Dollar Spot pumpkin patch.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Who doesn’t love a good Target run? You grab your pumpkin spice latte and you head for all the dollar treasures? Amirght?<\/p>\n

I was able to create this cozy and festive pumpkin patch for a mere $10. I added a few fall foliage stems from the Dollar Tree, that are just pulled apart to look more natural and less clumpy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Arranged in one of my barnwood boxes<\/strong><\/a> that I’ve made in the past, it’s just the right look for fall.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Textured pumpkins.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A few years ago, when I was on the craft fair circuit, I would make these different kinds of textured pumpkins that were up-cycled from old fabric I had laying around or other items.<\/p>\n

These canning jar ring pumpkins and cream colored puffy ones made from an old bedspread are still some of my favorites that I put out every year.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I like that they are different and don’t fit the plain ol’ orange pumpkin mold.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’ll be a little while longer before I get the real thing to place outside on the front porch for carving, but for now, these indoor varieties will do just fine to satisfy my pumpkin craving.<\/p>\n
