Fall is one of those seasons that makes it so easy to love. I’m not really a huge fan of hot, humid weather, so I welcome those first cool, milder fall temperatures.<\/p>\n

It’s also easy to find inspiration in outdoor decorating for fall because nature is pretty much screaming, “IT’S FALL!,” all around you.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

From the bright colors of the trees’ leaves changing, to the orange pumpkins and yellow cornstalks…there’s no mistaking when its fall.<\/p>\n

I pulled from nature’s vibes with my front porch this fall. And a little bit in our back pergola space too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Finally the bugs – mainly mosquitoes – here in Wisconsin have mostly all died and it is tolerable to be outside for longer than 30 seconds.<\/p>\n

It’s really a treat when I can relax out here in this space without swatting anything!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

With a good book, cup of cider and a blanket, it’s still a very nice place to unwind.<\/p>\n

I’m trying to soak up as much Vitamin D as I can before the winter blues kick in.<\/p>\n

The front of our house also got a welcoming transition for fall. I love using anything in nature that nods to the season. It also helps carry you further into Thanksgiving if you don’t specifically try to decorate for Halloween. (I’m not a big fan of the scary stuff anyway, so I am not super disappointed to skip it.)<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The recent red paint job<\/a> on our front door has been holding up well.<\/p>\n

Adding a fall welcome mat with some corn stalks, pumpkins and mums really helps dress the front entry naturally.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I hung a simple rustic berry wreath to the front door.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And about those pumpkins…Cinderella, gourds or carving…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Do you usually wait to carve your pumpkins until the end of October? Or right away? I’m excited to try out a new pumpkin carving kit I found at Target.<\/p>\n

Hopefully we get to carving before it gets too cold and our pumpkins turn all mushy. Cause is there anything worse than a mushy pumpkin? Oh well, at least my chickens will get a treat!<\/p>\n
