Hey there friends…Happy Tuesday!<\/p>\n

Do you ever just have one of those days, or weeks, where you’re charting unfamiliar territory? You may have just started a new job, picked up another added responsibility to your plate, or finally said “yes” to something sort of outside your comfort zone. And for whatever reason, you can’t help but feel like you’re walking ahead with a blindfold on?<\/p>\n

In two weeks, I will be taking a big step outside my comfort zone by bringing the shop portion of this blog from an exclusive online presence into more of a reality by participating in a big craft & vendor expo event in our area. I will be one of 100+ other eager entrepreneurs out there trying to do the same exact thing – making their dreams happen. And it’s sort of\u00a0a nerve-wracking thing for me – the controlling, type-A, perfectionist version of me.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But then there’s the dreamer side of me. The side that dares to think outside the box and let my aspirations see where they may take me. To be honest, this side of me does not even remotely exist without God leading me, holding my hand through it all. He has always been the one to fill me up with the courage I needed to take that next big leap of faith.<\/p>\n

I’m thankful for my faith on many different levels in my life, but this is probably the biggest area of gratitude I have. For I know that it’s through Christ who strengthens me that I am able to do the great things that I would otherwise not humanly risk to achieve.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is from 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we live by faith, not by sight.”<\/p>\n

I may not always know what lies in front of me, but with God on my side, I can be confident that even with a blindfold over my eyes, He’s still right there next to me, guiding me down the chosen path. It’s a comfort knowing I can rely on my God in such a huge way.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So, regardless of “how well” this upcoming show does, and whatever the outcome, I still know that God has led me to this next step, and I’m excited to see where it will go from there. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a little<\/del>\u00a0lot\u00a0unnerving!<\/p>\n

When you pour your heart and soul into creating something unique and then try selling it to people, you really hope and pray that someone will love it and want to take it home with them. You don’t want all your efforts to be a complete waste of time. Putting yourself out there can be a really scary thing.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But, honestly, taking these kinds of risks and chances is how we can expect to see growth in our lives. Without them, all of my ideas would still be “sitting on a shelf” inside my head, and I’d constantly be wondering, “what if I had taken them out and done something with them?”<\/p>\n

And so ends my rambling for today. Thanks for letting me use this blog as a sounding board for some of these things in life that just seem more manageable when I have you to share them with. I appreciate that!<\/p>\n

I decided this post sort of needed something “useful” to accompany all my words, so I designed a cute little free printable for you to enjoy with the 2 Corinthians verse on it. There’s one in pink or blue – you choose which one is better suited to your liking – and it’s sized to fit any 5 x 7 frame.<\/p>\n
