Today I am calling for a celebration! Grab your cup of coffee – tea for me please<\/em> – that’s sitting by your computer right now and raise it with me and let’s cyber-clink! The last 4 weeks have brought so many awesome new items to the Have a Little Faith Shop<\/a><\/strong>! Building an online shop, along with this blog, has been a dream of mine for a long time – so watching it slowing coming together into a reality is pretty amazing! Thank you to all of you who have placed orders this month and will hopefully continue to do so in the future. It really makes my heart happy!<\/p>\n

The month is just flying by and it’s hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week already. With temperatures here in Wisconsin expected to dip way down into the 30’s & 40’s this weekend, we’re definitely entering into “have a cup of cheer” weather. You know, where all you wanna do is curl up on the couch, in front of a blazing fireplace with a steaming hot cup of some yummy holiday beverage?<\/p>\n

My favorite drink this time of year happens to be a beverage called Autumn Warm Up (not sure why it only applies to autumn, since it could really just as easily be called Winter Warm Up too!)<\/em> I’ve included the recipe for it at the end of this post. It’s perfect for making at a large family gathering this time of year….as in Turkey Day next Thursday!<\/p>\n

But what about that absolute\u00a0favorite<\/em> cup of cheer to hold our tasty beverage? We all have our favorite mug – the one that really speaks to us, says a little something about us or just makes us feel happy inside. You may even have a collection of these favorite mugs, as I do on display in our kitchen.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve teamed up with my very talented SIL, Lis – short for Elisabeth – in creating some really beautiful, hand-painted mugs that will do just that. These mugs are all one of a kind – either vintage or thrifted finds – brought back to life and hand-painted with a fresh new look.<\/p>\n

As a former residential designer, she enjoys tackling DIY projects in her own home, with her very handy husband (and my brother), Josh. In addition to home projects, they love the outdoors and spending time on the lake and up north at the family cabin.<\/p>\n
