Happy Spring! This week marked the official first day of the season, so hopefully we’re finally moving beyond the cold doldrums of winter and onto sunshine, green grass and warm breezes of spring!!
I kicked off the season last weekend by participating in the very first craft expo for my Have a Little Faith Shop. Up until now, it has been exclusively an online storefront only. So bringing it out into the “real marketplace” so to speak, was a bit nerve-wracking, and a bit awesome all rolled into one big ball of excitement!
I am definitely glad we took the leap of faith because it was a really great opportunity. We met a lot of people who were intrigued by the concept of the shop – everything is either re-purposed, handmade or vintage – and made several sales on items we’ve been so excited to debut. We even made it on Facebook Live as the event coordinator was making the rounds and stopped to interview us, which was a bit terrifying to say the least!
Overall, it was a successful show, and we will hopefully be participating in a few more local ones from time to time. I still plan to have all of our items for sale through the online shop, and through my Etsy shop as well. Nothing is quite as convenient as the luxury of shopping in your PJ’s from your own computer!
Please be patient with me as I continue to get all of our new items loaded up onto the website. It is a process! But trust me, it will be worth the wait when you see all the cute things we have for spring available to purchase this season.
Just to preview a few of them, here’s what we will have coming online to the shop soon…
Vintage Bloom Board Signs
Custom Chalkboard Art
Vintage Sheet Music Wreaths
Barn Board Mason Jar Nail Art
As always, thanks for reading the blog and supporting the shop. The 3 ladies that help create the one of a kind items we feature here are just awesome! I am so blessed to be able to do what I love through blogging: write, create & inspire!
Looking forward to sharing some fun spring decor ideas from around my own home with you next week here on the blog!
