Be stong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. – Deuteronomy 31:6
This is my faith verse for the week. These are God’s words to me and I choose to believe them.
I have been knee-deep in project mode finalizing the items we’re getting ready to launch for sale on the Have a Little Faith Blog’s Shop.
I have caught myself on more than one occasion, asking myself the question, “Am I crazy for thinking this is going to work?” and allowing myself to enter into that dreaded fear-zone that often times comes with any new leap of faith in life.
But the reality is, I already know God’s got this. He has this whole thing already planned & knows every detail of how it will turn out. I can open my bible and see a multitude of reassurances that God is providing. I can rest assured that despite my shortcomings, fears and doubts, God is still rooting for me, encouraging me. What a blessing!
I can honestly say, I am not certain of what sort of success I will find with this crazy dream of mine, but at least it has given me an opportunity to break through the chains of fear and start believing in the possibility of something great.
Psalm 138:3 says, “When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.” God loves me and wants to make me brave because he wants me to experience freedom. Freedom to run after the adventure he has tailor-made just for me.
And know what? It feels good!
